An original acrylic monotype print on 88lb acid-free gravure paper. The print area is approximately 11×14”, with subtle variations that reflect the hand-printing process.
The artwork ships matted in a 16×20” mat and ready to frame. In select cases, it can also ship fully framed with glass. Frame dimensions: 17.5×21.5” × 1”, natural wood finish. Please inquire for U.S. shipping availability and pricing for framed orders.
What is a monotype print?
Created with acrylic paint, this artwork comes from the monotype process, a painterly form of printmaking where each impression is unique. Paint is applied to a smooth, un-etched surface and then transferred to paper by hand. Through multiple pulls, layers of color, texture, and pattern build upon one another, giving the print its distinctive depth and one-of-a-kind character.
