Hello, thank you for visiting GraylingHome—where creativity is celebrated and art is made to live beautifully beside you.

ARTIST, DESIGNER

Paula Fontana is a mixed media artist and the founder of GraylingHome—a small studio fueled by a big love for creativity, color, and finding beauty in the imperfect. Her work blends abstract minimalism with organic shapes, layered monotype prints, and bold linework. Inspired by Scandinavian design, mid-century architecture, and the quiet forms of nature, Paula creates art with a calm visual rhythm and a tactile, modern edge.

A self-taught artist with 25 years of experience as an editorial and e-commerce art director, she has contributed to NewBeauty and LUXE magazines and brings a sharp visual sensibility to every piece she creates. After years working in the digital space, a return to hands-on making—paper, ink, fabric, and form—reignited her love for process, sparking the vision that would become GraylingHome.

Her work has been featured in regional South Florida exhibitions and selected multiple times to represent the City of Boca Raton in public festivals and events. She is a Plunge into the Arts Alumni Artist and a Minted Design Challenge winner for her abstract acrylic piece Emerald Waltz. Paula teaches classes in printmaking, painting with paper, and brushless landscapes at the Creative Arts School in Delray Beach, FL, as well as through community programs and art organizations.

Her workshops are about more than technique—they offer a space to slow down, explore, and reconnect with creativity. She shares her process with fellow makers drawn to simplicity, texture, and intuitive, hands-on art—believing that a creative life is a fuller life, and that small acts of making can bring deeper connection to self and others.

In a world of smooth, flat, and fast—GraylingHome chooses the opposite. Texture over polish. Meaning over mass production. Objects that feel made, not manufactured.

THE SHOP

GraylingHome.com brings to life a vision shaped by an artist’s eye—blending original artwork, limited-edition prints, soulful home décor, and everyday goods designed with intention.

Think of it as her studio, expanded—where art meets object, and creative expression finds a home in the everyday. A space where vision meets curation, and original works sit alongside giftable pieces that share the same spirit: soulful, tactile, and never mass-produced.

In time, GraylingHome will grow to include pieces from other independent artists and makers. But it will always stay true to its roots: affordable, intentional, and full of soul.
