An original acrylic monotype print on 88lb acid-free gravure paper. The print area is approximately 11×14”, with subtle variations that reflect the hand-printing process.
The artwork ships matted in a 16×20” mat and ready to frame. In select cases, it can also ship fully framed with glass. Frame dimensions: 17.5×21.5” × 1”, natural wood finish. Please inquire for U.S. shipping availability and pricing for framed orders.
What is a monotype print?
This artwork was created using monotype printmaking techniques with acrylic paint. Monotype printing involves applying paint to a smooth, clean, un-etched surface and then transferring the image to paper by hand. Since only a single impression of the image is made, no two prints are exactly alike. As a result of this print process, unique textural qualities are achieved through the layer of paint.
